Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled, experienced and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Your responsibilities as a medical assistant will include assisting healthcare professionals with various medical procedures, performing administrative tasks, and delivering exceptional patient service.
Responsibilities:
- Perform vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, pulse and weight
- Assist with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans
- Handle medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Provide excellent customer service to patients by addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant is highly desirable
- Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus
