About the Role:
NBC Orthodontics Incorporated is looking for a detail-oriented and patient-focused Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our front desk team in Georgetown, TX! Responsibilities:
- Verify and process dental and orthodontic insurance benefits for new and existing patients
- Submit insurance claims, track outstanding claims, and follow up on denials or rejections
- Accurately post insurance payments and adjustments to patient accounts
- Communicate insurance coverage, treatment costs, and payment options clearly to patients and families
- Coordinate with insurance carriers to resolve billing discrepancies and pre-authorization requests
- Greet and check in patients at the front desk, maintaining a warm and professional atmosphere
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records using orthodontic practice management software
Requirements:
- 1+ years of dental or orthodontic insurance coordination or dental front desk experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental/orthodontic insurance billing, CDT codes, and EOBs
- Experience with dental practice management software
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with a patient-first attitude
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy front office environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; dental billing certification a plus
