American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center, requiring prior travel experience and Level 1 trauma OR background.

10-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM

4 shifts per week

Operating Room in a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center handling complex and high-volume cases

Weekend coverage required — travelers are expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month

Holiday coverage required

Call shifts required

Block scheduling is not approved for this unit

No on-call ratio or scheduled on-call responsibilities beyond call shifts

Active Georgia (GA) RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS certification required

Previous travel nursing experience required

Level 1 trauma OR experience required, with a demonstrated background in high-pressure, large-scale trauma environments

Experience managing critical, fast-paced OR cases in high-volume hospitals with diverse and severe patient populations

Strong OR skills checklist ratings required

Burn OR experience preferred

Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered

The OR serves a diverse, high-acuity inner-city trauma population with complex and challenging surgical cases
