About the Role
The Cavanagh Law Firm, a well-established Phoenix-based firm, is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Practice Administrator to provide dedicated administrative and operational management for a high-volume, sophisticated bankruptcy practice. This is a critical role supporting attorneys who handle complex bankruptcy matters and related litigation, and it requires someone who can independently own the full administrative workflow of the practice group.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client intake processes and procedures specific to bankruptcy matters
- Conduct and oversee conflict checks
- Coordinate practice-group accounting and billing, including client invoicing and fee application matters
- Manage bankruptcy and bankruptcy litigation filings, including court deadlines and procedural compliance
- Serve as the primary point of coordination between attorneys, paralegals, and clients on administrative matters
- Maintain case management systems and ensure accurate, up-to-date practice records
- Handle other administrative matters affecting the practice group as they arise
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in bankruptcy practice administration (required)
- Familiarity with bankruptcy court filing procedures and deadlines (Chapter 7, 11, and/or 13, as applicable)
- Experience with legal billing and accounting practices
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with case management and billing software
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
