Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Beam Line Machine Operator to join our structural steel fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC beam line equipment such as Peddinghaus, PythonX, Ficep, or similar automated structural cutting and drilling systems. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality production of beams, channels, angles, and other structural components according to engineering specifications and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
· Operate CNC structural steel beam line machinery for cutting, drilling, coping, and marking.
· Interpret fabrication drawings
· Load and unload steel material using overhead cranes.
· Perform routine machine setup, calibration, and quality checks.
· Monitor machine operation to ensure accuracy, productivity, and safety.
· Perform basic maintenance and report mechanical issues.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area.
· Follow all company safety practices and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications Required:
· Experience operating a structural steel beam line machine (Peddinghaus, PythonX, Ficep, etc.).
· Ability to read and interpret structural steel shop drawings.
· Familiarity with fabrication tolerances and measurement tools.
· Ability to use overhead cranes, rigging, and forklifts safely.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
· Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
· 2+ years in steel fabrication.
· CNC programming or machine troubleshooting experience.
· OSHA 10 or similar safety certification.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift 50+ lbs. as needed.
· Standing, bending, and walking throughout the shift.
· Working in industrial shop conditions (noise, heat, steel handling, PPE).

Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour
