Job Summary
Bethel Christian School seeks a Christlike servant leader to serve as our school principal. The principal will be responsible for the day to day operations of the school. The principal will lead the school staff and will have the opportunity to exercise their skills in the classroom.
Bethel Christian School is a K-3 through 8th grade school with approximately 90 students. The school is a ministry of Bethel Memorial Church. The Principal is expected to be a member and an active part of the Bethel Church family.
Duties
- Oversee curriculum development to ensure high-quality, engaging, and inclusive educational programs.
- Manage budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to support academic excellence and operational needs.
- Supervise teachers and administrative personnel, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Oversee classroom operations by supporting teachers in instructional practices, classroom management, and student engagement strategies.
- Represent the school publicly through speaking engagements, community events, and media appearances to promote its achievements and vision.
- Ensure compliance with educational policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements across all school activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in education administration with a strong background in classroom teaching and curriculum development.
- Strong skills in strategic planning, budgeting, and resource management.
- Excellent public speaking abilities with experience engaging diverse audiences including students, parents, staff, and community partners.
- Deep understanding of education policies, and classroom best practices.
- Supervising experience that highlights leadership in managing change initiatives or school improvement projects is highly desirable. Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
