Responsibilities

- Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, slicers, mixers, and fryers
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all ingredients and utensils
- Assist with meal preparation for service periods, ensuring timely delivery of quality dishes
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and kitchen areas through regular cleaning and sanitation routines
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and meet service demands
- Support catering events or special functions by preparing bulk items or specialty dishes as needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a food service environment, including restaurant or catering settings, is highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient prep
- Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and food industry best practices
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
