Lead Urgent Care Physician – Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Compensation: $275,000–$300,000 annually
Schedule: Full-Time
Position: Approximately 80% Clinical / 20% Administrative
Tracy Zweig Associates is recruiting a Lead Urgent Care Physician for a well-established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Los Angeles.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a physician who enjoys direct patient care and is interested in taking on a clinical leadership role. The Lead Physician will serve as an on-site clinical leader while continuing to provide urgent care services to the organization's patient population.

Responsibilities include:
- Provide evidence-based care for acute and urgent medical conditions
- Serve as a clinical resource for complex cases
- Oversee and support urgent care clinical workflows
- Collaborate with clinical and operational leadership
- Support and mentor physicians and advanced practice providers
- Participate in quality improvement, peer review, and chart audits
- Assist with provider recruitment, onboarding, and evaluations
- Help improve documentation, coding, clinical workflows, and patient throughput
- Participate in the continued development and growth of urgent care services
Qualifications:
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Active, unrestricted California medical license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- 3–5 years of urgent care, emergency medicine, or high-volume outpatient experience
- Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Emergency Medicine physicians will be considered
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred but not required
- FQHC or community health experience is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
Annual compensation of $275,000–$300,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision coverage, paid time off, paid holidays, 403(b), malpractice coverage, tuition reimbursement, and potential loan repayment opportunities.
