The Project Manager will oversee and coordinate all aspects of metal fabrication projects from initiation to completion. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of metal fabrication processes to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Project Planning & Coordination

Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.

Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth workflow.

Client Communication

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.

Provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.

Budget & Cost Control

Prepare and manage project budgets.

Monitor costs and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Quality Assurance

Ensure all fabricated components meet client specifications and industry standards.

Work closely with QA/QC teams to resolve any issues.

Risk Management

Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Team Leadership

Supervise and guide project team members.

Foster collaboration between departments.
Required Qualifications

Education: Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience: Minimum 5 years in metal fabrication, with at least 2 years in project management.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of welding, cutting, forming, and assembly processes.

Familiarity with CAD drawings and fabrication blueprints.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

Physical Requirement: Must have fine motor skills; mobility to move safety on the production floor; and the ability to sit for most of the day.

This role is fully in person and requires daily on-site work at our North Attleboro, MA facility.

Visual Requirement: Must be able to visually read documents and a computer screen

Hearing Requirement: Must be able to hear and speak on the phone and in person to convey information

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ERP systems and project management software.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.

PMP certification is a plus.
