DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Essential Job Duties:
- Operate extrusion equipment, including but not limited to extruders, coating equipment, batching equipment, and meat processing equipment. This includes operational setup, changeovers, Starting/Stopping of Equipment, Performing QC checks and recording results, Sanitation of equipment and processing areas.
- Empty finished product bins
- May drive forklift or use pallet jack as required
- Basic operational maintenance on equipment
- Follow work instructions and SOP’s
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- 3+ years of extrusion experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience in pet food manufacturing or food manufacturing is strongly preferred.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
