Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Residential Cleaner/Housekeeper to join our dynamic team and help maintain the comfort, cleanliness, and overall well-being of our clients’ homes. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and outdoor spaces when applicable.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met or exceeded.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents to dust surfaces, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and clean windows and mirrors.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care.
- Maintain organization of cleaning supplies and ensure proper manual handling techniques are followed during heavy lifting or moving furniture.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning preferences or special requests.
- Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled appointments while maintaining high-quality standards.
Skills
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with strong janitorial or custodial background.
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents, floor care products, and sanitation practices for different surfaces.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly approach to client communication.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
- Physical stamina for outdoor work experience involving manual handling and heavy lifting when necessary.
- Attention to detail in dusting, surface cleaning, and maintaining overall cleanliness standards.
