American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week travel contract requiring critical care experience, Cerner proficiency, and night shift availability.

Acute care ICU setting with 36 private beds (24 actively utilized)
-
1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, which may increase up to 1:3

Common diagnoses include respiratory, trauma, neuro, cardiac, renal, and OB conditions
-
12-hour night shifts (1900–0730) on a self-scheduling basis, 3x12 per week

3 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule; nights are Friday and Saturday

Charting system: Cerner
-
Floating to stepdown unit is a possibility
-
Active IN or compact RN license required
-
Minimum 2 years of critical care (ICU) experience required

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS

Cerner EMR experience required
-
BSN not required
-
Navy blue scrubs required
