Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring efficiency and high standards of service.
- Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and development to foster a positive team environment.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation, maintaining strict adherence to food safety and quality standards.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Control inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure availability of ingredients and supplies.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure an exceptional dining experience for all guests.
- Assist with staffing schedules, interviewing potential team members, and supporting hiring processes.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety protocols, and compliance with health regulations across the restaurant.
- Support kitchen management by supervising food production, catering events, and special banquets when needed.
- Monitor budget adherence, control costs related to food handling and labor, and contribute to overall restaurant profitability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service management or supervisory roles within quick service or casual dining environments.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen operations.
- Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervising or team management experience.
- Familiarity with inventory control, food safety standards, and hospitality management practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Ability to train staff effectively in food handling, safety procedures, and service standards.
- Experience in managing budgets, scheduling shifts, and overseeing kitchen or food production areas is preferred.
