Applicants must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Ideal candidate would have 5+ years experience as a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant in Women's Health (Ob-Gyn) and/or Primary Care and fully proficient with our EHR (e-ClinicalWorks).
Confidence with independently performing well woman exams at all life stages (from teens through elder years) is required, delivering care according to published guidelines and proactively updating health screenings and providing anticipatory age-appropriate guidance through different life stages is the foundation of this position.
Independent thorough assessments and management of menopause/perimenopause, osteoporosis/osteopenia, and obesity/overweight while utilizing a holistic approach incorporating nutrition, exercise, supplements, hormones, and medication is required.
We are looking for a team player, who will initially see and evaluate patients for routine health visits, and progress to also seeing patients presenting with gynecologic/menopausal problem visits, obesity assessments (lifestyle and comorbidity assessments as well as coaching on weight loss strategies) performing comprehensive cancer risk assessments, cardiovascular health assessments, hormone testing and balancing, as well as early pregnancy visits and contraception visits.
We practice an Integrative Medicine approach to chronic diseases utilizing nutritional/hormonal/medical/behavioral approaches to chronic medical conditions. Many of our patient visits are lab follow ups geared towards executing treatment plans outlined by the physician. Training to facilitate you performing specialty gynecologic treatments such as Cliovana, MonaLisa Touch and SoLa would be provided.
We incorporate nutritional supplements and vitamins, nutrition and hormone testing, toxin-free personal care products, online courses, online and in person group visits, small medical/gyn device sales into our approach with most patients.

Responsibilities and Duties
Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant are responsible for seeing scheduled patients and documenting the visits efficiently, reviewing labs, returning patient phone calls/portal messaging, renewing prescriptions, performing peer-to-peer appeals with insurance companies, and properly coding their own charts.
The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8-5 and 1 Saturday per month 8-12. We can be somewhat flexible in this schedule, but no less than 16 hours/wk. There is an option for either Monday or Thursday to be 10am-7pm. We have a provider expected to retire in 2 years, and there is opportunity to add more hours as she winds down her schedule.
Charting, lab reviews, patient phone calls should be completed within working hours. (In other words, there is no extra compensation for completing charts outside of your scheduled shifts, thus efficiency in charting is key).
Compensation consists of a guaranteed base salary paid every 2 weeks. There is also a quarterly commission bonus, shared equally with all staff.
Qualifications and Skills
5+ years experience practicing in ObGyn, Primary Care, Integrative Medicine and/or Functional Medicine, Obesity Medicine. We prefer candidates who are proficient with using e-ClinicalWorks (eCW) electronic medical record. NEW GRADS SHOULD APPLY TO OUR TRAINING PROGRAM, SEPARATELY LISTED ON INDEED WHEN AVAILABLE.
