Brooks Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Outpatient team. This role is ideal for professionals dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic, patient-centered environment. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with experts in the field to facilitate personal and professional growth while delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Location: Our outpatient float team covers our entire Orlando and surrounding areas in Lake, Seminole, Orange and Osceola counties. You will be assigned to one of the primary service areas where our team will work to place you the majority of the time. We will prioritize hours in your primary area, but there may be times you will be asked to travel. Mileage will be reimbursed.

- Central/East Orlando
- South Orlando
- Central/West Orlando

Department : Outpatient - Float Team
Hours: This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position with flexible scheduling between 30–40 hours per week. Employees working 3 0 hours or more per week are eligible for full-time benefits. Guaranteed weekly hours will be established based on the candidate’s preference within that range.
Compensation: Experience, education and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.

- Provide a positive patient experience through patient engagement and progressive treatment techniques.
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with patients, families, physicians, and team members.

- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with organizational, state, and federal requirements.
Physical Therapist (PT) Responsibilities
- Complete patient evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans and goals.
- Perform re-evaluations and modify plans of care as appropriate.
- Participate in all aspects of patient care management and progression through the rehabilitation process.
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Responsibilities
- Function under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Implement treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
For Physical Therapist (PT) Candidates
- Current Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida.
- Current hands-on CPR/BLS Certification.
- Knowledge of federal and state professional requirements.
For Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Candidates
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of Florida.
- Current hands-on CPR/BLS Certification.
- Experience preferred; new graduates will be considered.
- Knowledge of federal and state professional requirements.
