The Load Planner/Router is directly responsible for load planning and routing of less than truckload orders into efficient multi-stop truckloads. This is a highly analytical planning role within operations and is responsible for ensuring we are adhering to customer requests with delivery expectations, working within the required HOS regulations, and meeting the metrics for asset utilization and lane profitability.

General Accountabilities include:
- Routing multi-temperature LTL shipments, while working closely with dispatch, customers & logistics
- Making & tracking delivery appointments
- Order management
- Maintaining order & load status in internal Transportation Management System (TMS)
- Handling & resolving delivery exceptions/delays and customer inquiries
- Communicating load delays/exceptions to shippers & receivers
- Maintaining customer KPI scorecards
- Analyzing internal load margins and load factors
- Provide temperature requirements per trip
- Understand trailer utilization, loading requirements for weight distribution
- Collaborate with team members on driver needs, weekly

Prerequisites:
- Industry experience (2 years preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree & refrigerated logistics experience (preferred)
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office applications)
- Experience in LTL planning dry or refrigerated preferred
- Understanding of HOS DOT requirements
- TMS experience
- Previous experience planning multi stop loads preferred
