Join the Campbellsville University Dining Hall team as a Dishwasher, where you play an essential role in supporting daily meal service and catering operations through cleanliness, organization, and food safety.
Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to health and safety standards.
- Support catering and banquet service by ensuring all service ware is clean, stocked, and ready for use.
- Maintain a clean and organized dish area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces.
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to prevent cross-contamination.
- Assist kitchen staff during peak service times to ensure timely flow of clean dishes.
- Perform general cleaning duties across kitchen and dining areas as needed.
Requirements
- Food service, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred but not required—training provided.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically active tasks.
- Basic understanding of cleanliness and food safety practices is helpful.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization.
- Team-oriented with a positive, reliable work ethic.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
