Farmstead Associate
Location: Folded Hills Farmstead
Schedule: Friday – Monday (Including Holidays)
About the Position
Folded Hills Farmstead is looking for a reliable and outgoing Farmstead Associate to join our team. This role is at the heart of our daily operations, you are the primary point of contact for our guests and the face of our Farmstead shop.
If you enjoy a mix of retail, hospitality, and working in a beautiful farm setting, this is the perfect role for you. We are looking for a team member who is as comfortable handling guest transactions as they are sharing the story of our organic farm.
Daily Responsibilities
- Guest Experience: Provide a warm, professional welcome to all visitors. You’ll help guests navigate our selection of organic produce, curated retail items, and heritage farm goods.
- Point of Sale: Manage daily sales and transactions using the Square POS system.
- Animal Interactions: Help guests connect with our farm animals by facilitating our feeding experience program. You’ll manage the sale and distribution of farm-fresh treats to ensure a fun and safe experience for everyone.
- Shop Upkeep: Maintain our high standards for shop presentation. This includes restocking displays, ensuring produce is fresh and well-organized, and keeping the Farmstead area tidy and inviting.
- Brand Ambassador: Share your knowledge of our organic practices and the Folded Hills story with our community and visitors.
What We’re Looking For
- Reliability: Our Farmstead is a weekend destination, so consistent availability Friday through Monday (including holidays) is essential.
- Communication: A natural ability to engage with people and provide excellent customer service.
- Adaptability: Someone who is tech-savvy enough to learn our POS system and active enough to handle the physical nature of a farm shop (standing for shifts and lifting up to 40 lbs).
- Positive Attitude: No prior farm experience is required, we value a great work ethic and a willingness to learn above all else!
