Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Santa Monica, California.
This role provides 1:1 patient care in a procedural environment, supporting interventional radiology cases from pre-procedure through recovery.
POSITION OVERVIEW
This opportunity is ideal for nurses with true IR or procedural experience who are comfortable with sedation, vascular access, and high-acuity procedural workflows.
ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
- 13-week contract
- Day shift | 5x8s (08:00–16:30)
- Every other weekend required
- Weekday and weekend call required
- No floating
COMPENSATION
- Gross: $3,139 per week
- W2: $30 per hour
- Tax-Free Stipend: $1,939 per week
CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care for IR patients
- Administer and monitor procedural sedation
- Assist with vascular access and interventional procedures
- Deliver 1:1 patient care throughout procedures
- Monitor patient response and escalate care as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and procedural teams
- Document care accurately in Epic EMR
