As a Data Center Security Manager, you deliver full pieces of a project and make significant contributions with minimal guidance. You use your knowledge of security technology, data analysis, and data visualization to plan efforts of a team responsible for small to medium sized initiatives by delivering value-added perspectives and influencing project direction. You contribute to cross-team collaborations, identify and recommend multiple creative ways to solve defined problems. You also demonstrate the behaviors expected of all Googlers as captured in Google's cultural pillars, and you engage in community contributions to improve and sustain our culture and operations, making Google a better place to work.
The Threat Analysis and Crisis Services (TACS) team is a critical pillar of Google Data Center’s Compliance, Strategy, and Risk Management (CSRM) organization. We provide 24/7 threat monitoring, crisis support, and strategic intelligence to protect Google’s Technical Infrastructure—including our people, operations, assets and supply chain.
By leveraging data-driven insights from open sources, public-private partnerships, and third-party intelligence, TACS transforms complex signals into actionable risk assessments. Our work enables the safe expansion of AI/ML and Cloud business growth, ensuring that Google’s physical and technical foundation remains resilient against emerging global threats.

The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems in the world. We are an upbeat, creative, team-oriented group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful data centers.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $111000 - $160000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
