The Role
CFO Advisry is seeking a sharp FP&A Analyst to work directly with our Principal across an active client portfolio. You’ll be the reporting and modeling engine behind high-quality financial advisory work — building the forecasts, dashboards, and analyses that drive real business decisions.

CFO Advisry is a fractional CFO firm based in Annapolis, MD. We partner with small and mid-sized businesses to deliver financial leadership and analytical rigor across a range of industries. This is a hybrid role — you’ll work both on-site in Annapolis and remotely, with a schedule built around client needs and personal flexibility.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain financial models, budgets, and rolling forecasts in Excel
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports for client engagements
- Develop dashboards, scorecards, and automated reporting tools
- Analyze trends, variances, and KPIs — and communicate findings clearly
- Support client presentations, leadership meetings, and strategic planning sessions
- Identify workflow improvements and automation opportunities within reporting processes
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years in FP&A, financial analysis, accounting, or corporate finance
- Advanced Excel skills — financial modeling is your comfort zone
- Strong analytical instincts with a sharp eye for detail
- Clear communicator who can turn numbers into a story
- Comfortable managing multiple client priorities under deadline pressure
What Sets You Apart
- Experience with NetSuite, Sage, or Restaurant365
- Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
- Interest in using AI tools to enhance modeling, forecasting, and reporting
- Prior experience in a consulting or advisory environment
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
