*Job Overview*
The State of North Carolina is seeking an experienced NC FAST Salesforce Solutions Engineer to support enterprise-scale modernization initiatives within the NC FAST program. This role requires a highly skilled Salesforce professional with expertise in solution architecture, development, integration, and technical leadership within complex business environments.
*Required Qualifications*
5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience across configuration, customization, and solution design
5+ years of strong development experience with:
- Apex
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Salesforce Integrations
- Enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions
3+ years of experience supporting public-sector, regulated, or compliance-driven programs, or similar large-scale enterprise environments
2+ years of experience leading:
- Technical discovery workshops
- Solution design sessions
- Development teams in a senior or lead capacity
*Key Responsibilities*
Design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with business and program objectives
Lead technical discovery, architecture discussions, and solution design workshops
Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, and integrations
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
Ensure compliance with security, governance, and best practices in regulated environments
Support system enhancements, integrations, testing, and deployment activities
*Preferred Candidate Profile*
Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and architecture
Experience with enterprise application integrations and API development
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid and collaborative environment
*Experience working on government, healthcare, human services, or large-scale transformation programs is highly desirable*
Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
