We are looking for Part-Time Science Instructors to teach for the 2026-2027 school year in Los Angeles. As an Instructor, you will teach hands-on science projects to K-5th grade students after school Monday-Friday.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Experience teaching K-5th grade students
- Must commit to the whole session (6-10 week program)
- Must have Reliable Transportation
- Must be punctual, reliable, enthusiastic, responsible, and flexible
- Dedicated to children with diverse backgrounds and academic levels
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Independently lead a group of 14 students from K-5th grade
- Lead FUN hands-on after-school classes on topics related to Science and/or Engineering.
- Attend Teacher Training where you will be trained on STAR curriculum. All supplies are provided by STAR and are prepared by Teachers.
- Instructors are expected to arrive on time and provide an educational, safe and enjoyable class experience for students.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00 per hour
