We are looking for a strong, hands-on Front of House Supervisor to help lead our restaurant team in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. This is a working supervisor role — not a stand-back-and-watch position. The ideal candidate leads by example, actively assists during service, and helps create a positive, accountable, team-oriented culture.

Front of House Supervisor

Oversee frontofhouse operations during assigned shifts, including opening and closing responsibilities

Lead the dining room and maintain smooth, professional service in the absence of management

Actively assist during service by helping hosts, servers, bartenders, food runners, and support staff as needed

Ensure all FOH stations are fully stocked, organized, and guestready before service

Manage guest flow, seating efficiency, wait times, and overall dining room organization

Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues quickly to maintain a positive guest experience

Train, coach, and develop FOH team members — not just supervise them

Hold staff accountable for service standards, side work, cleanliness, punctuality, and professionalism

Complete and verify all opening and closing checklists, side work, and shift duties

Maintain accountability for cash handling procedures and accurate drawer/checkout reconciliation

Utilize and oversee POS operations using Toast, including order accuracy, troubleshooting, comps/voids, and employee accountability

Communicate effectively with restaurant management regarding staffing, guest concerns, service flow, and operational needs

Adjust staffing levels throughout shifts based on business volume and service demands

Assist with covering callouts and maintaining strong service standards during busy periods

Previous restaurant frontofhouse experience required; leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Experience using Toast POS or similar restaurant POS systems preferred
