Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
- Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries or reservations
- Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements to ensure efficient table turnover
- Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
- Assist with guest services and resolve any issues or complaints
- Use Aloha POS system to manage reservations, seating, and guest information
Skills:
- Excellent hospitality and customer service skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle guest relations with professionalism and tact
- Proficient in using Aloha POS or similar restaurant management software
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and ability to handle high call volumes
