We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our team! This vital role combines essential bookkeeping responsibilities with administrative support. CPA firm experience is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books for multiple entity types
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using Quick Books and Quick Books Online
- Preparation of bank reconciliations, payroll tax and sales tax filings
- Maintain organized filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring easy retrieval of documents and records
- Provide customer support via phone or email, addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Perform clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and preparing reports to support team operations
- Requirements
- Previous experience with accounting firm office environment is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) applications
- Experience with Quick Books and Quick Books Online
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality and follow-through etiquette and customer
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working in a small-team environment and taking initiative
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
