Teacher Assistant
Pixie Village Preschool
We are seeking a caring, reliable preschool Teacher Assistant to support our Lead Teacher in delivering a high‑quality, prekindergarten program aligned with the NYS Prek Learning Standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting instruction
- Assisting with supervision, safety, and daily routines
- Helping implement positive behavior guidance
- Preparing materials and maintaining and cleaning classroom environments
- Participating in required OCFS training and Professional Development
Requirements:
- Experience working with young children
- Ability to meet OCFS clearance requirements
Available shifts:
8:15-1:15 Monday-Friday
8:45-2:15 Monday-Friday
1:30-5:30 Monday-Friday
7:30-5:50 Monday-Friday variable/as needed
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
