What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of CNC machining experience
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprint specifications
- Understanding of materials, cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and their effect on tool life
- Proficiency using precision inspection equipment to verify parts accurately
- Experience programming and optimizing CNC toolpaths
- Ability to independently develop creative and efficient workholding and setup strategies
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to clearly explain machining processes and mentor others when needed
- Experience, or a willingness to learn, multiple CNC controls and machine platforms, including multi-axis mills and lathes
- Understanding of the differences between prototype machining and production machining
