Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Lead Teacher to inspire and guide young learners in a vibrant educational environment. Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with educational standards and individual student needs, including adaptations for students with disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders
- Create a positive classroom environment that promotes social-emotional growth, behavioral health, and active participation among students
- Utilize educational technology tools to enhance learning experiences and facilitate differentiated instruction for diverse learners
- Conduct ongoing assessments of student progress through standardized testing, formative assessments, and observational data; adjust instructional strategies accordingly
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share student progress, discuss behavioral management strategies, and foster strong home-school partnerships
- Mentor and support teaching staff or assistant teachers, providing guidance on curriculum development, classroom management, and special education law compliance
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood or elementary education settings, including classroom management and lesson planning
- Strong knowledge of childhood development, special education practices, behavior management for students with disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders support
- Expertise in speech therapy techniques, literacy education, math instruction, and early intervention strategies
- Ability to integrate educational technology effectively into daily lessons and activities
- Excellent communication skills for parent-teacher interactions and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities or developmental delays preferred
- Certification or training in behavioral therapy or related fields is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to mentor colleagues while fostering an inclusive classroom environment that celebrates diversity
