Member Duties : The goal of the Nutrition Education & Food Growing Systems VISTA is to strengthen the Star of the Sea Foundation's capacity to provide sustainable nutrition education and food-growing opportunities throughout Monroe County. Working with community partners, volunteers, and local stakeholders, the VISTA will develop systems, resources, and partnerships that increase access to nutrition education, healthy foods, and hands-on agricultural learning experiences for low-income children, adults, and seniors.
