`Duties`
- Supervise and monitor the behavior and interactions of dogs in a daycare setting
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in your care
- Provide exercise and playtime for dogs, both indoors and outdoors
- Clean and maintain the daycare facility, including dog kennels, play areas, and common areas
- Perform walks with groups of up to 4 dogs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
-Ability to stand on your feet all day
-This is a highly physical job
- Feed and administer medications to dogs according to their specific needs
- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming
- Handle dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments with care and confidence
- Maintain accurate records of each dog's behavior, health, and daily activities
`Experience`
- Previous experience working with dogs in a professional setting (e.g., dog daycare, veterinary clinic, animal shelter)
- Knowledge of dog behavior, body language, and basic training techniques
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and effectively
- Familiarity with basic animal care practices, including feeding schedules, medication administration, and grooming procedures
- Strong customer service skills to interact with dog owners and address any concerns or questions they may have
Note: While not required, having a background in animal care will benefit you greatly in this role.
Note: Hours required are Monday- Saturday 6:30am-7pm
