Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements, reports, and analyses in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and other relevant regulations.
- Manage all aspects of accounting operations such as general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, cost accounting, and cash flow analysis to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Conduct risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard organizational assets while supporting business development initiatives.
- Supervise the finance team by providing leadership, mentorship, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in financial practices.
- Ensure regulatory reporting requirements are met efficiently while maintaining compliance with governmental accounting standards and industry-specific regulations.
- Utilize data analytics tools to interpret complex financial information, develop financial projection models, and support strategic decision-making processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in financial management or finance directorship roles with a strong background in accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Extensive knowledge of IAS (International Accounting Standards), IFRS, GAAP, ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), and industry-specific financial regulations.
- Demonstrated expertise in corporate accounting, governmental accounting, non-profit accounting, and risk management practices.
- Strong proficiency in Excel data analysis, financial modeling development, and data analytics tools to support forecasting and strategic planning efforts.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing finance teams across diverse functions including budgeting, cost control, investment management, and financial reporting.
- Ability to interpret complex financial concepts clearly through written reports and presentations for executive stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving within fast-changing environments.
