Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Greet guests with enthusiasm and professionalism, making them feel valued from the moment they arrive
- Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Toast POS
- Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort
- Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations
- Maintain organized guest lists and waitlists, updating status regularly to ensure smooth flow of service
- Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously
- Support food service staff by facilitating communication between guests and servers, ensuring seamless service delivery
Requirements
- Prior experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to engage with diverse guests effectively
- Ability to handle phone communication professionally, demonstrating proper phone etiquette
- Basic math skills for managing reservations, waitlists, and seating calculations
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting
- Familiarity with food safety standards and hospitality best practices is a plus
- Experience with hotel or guest services environments is advantageous but not required
