Atlanta Spine Surgery Center seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse Manager to lead and oversee nursing operations within our ambulatory surgical center. Duties
- Lead and manage the team, ensuring optimal staffing levels and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Oversee patient assessments, medical documentation, and clinical procedures.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state healthcare regulations, long-term care regulations, and ASC policies related to patient safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary collaboration for discharge planning, case management, and utilization review to optimize patient outcomes.
- Supervise the use of our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, Athena Health for accurate medical records and documentation.
- Monitor clinical performance metrics including vital signs assessment, medication administration accuracy, ICD coding accuracy (ICD-9/ICD-10), and nursing policy compliance.
Qualifications
- Valid RN license with current state registration; prior nurse management or leadership experience required.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology relevant to diverse patient populations.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise multidisciplinary teams while maintaining high standards of patient care; excellent managerial communication skills essential.
- Ability to perform clinical duties such as phlebotomy, sterile processing techniques, suturing, and basic life support certification required.
Pay: $37.57 - $48.25 per hour
