Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in customer service and food handling, with experience in fine dining or nightclub settings. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional service to our guests, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain knowledge of drink menus, specials, and promotions to enhance the guest experience.
- Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service for banquets and catering events.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent sales skills to promote menu items and increase revenue.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices within the food industry.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions accurately.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding hospitality.
