Position Summary
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will implement individualized treatment plans, collect accurate behavioral data, collaborate with families and clinical staff, and help children develop essential communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one, evidence-based ABA therapy to children in home, school, daycare, clinic, or community settings.
- Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and treatment programs developed by the supervising BCBA.
- Accurately collect, record, and maintain behavior and skill acquisition data during each therapy session.
- Utilize positive behavior support strategies and reinforcement techniques to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, and multidisciplinary professionals to support treatment goals.
- Assist with caregiver training by modeling intervention strategies as directed by the supervising BCBA.
- Maintain professional, timely, and accurate session documentation.
- Attend required team meetings, supervision sessions, and ongoing professional development trainings.
- Maintain compliance with BACB Ethics Code, HIPAA regulations, and company policies.
- Perform other clinical duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the BACB.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between client locations.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while following clinical direction.
