Job Title: Quality Control ChemistJob Description
As a Quality Control Chemist, you will perform qualitative and quantitative testing of samples using analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, UV/Vis, KF, FTIR, and various wet chemistry techniques. You will ensure that analytical data is accurate, precise, and compliant with cGMP, FDA, and company requirements.
Responsibilities-
Document testing, observations, deviations, and Out of Specification (OOS) results clearly and completely.

Perform peer review of data as needed.

Coordinate and prepare samples for shipment to external testing laboratories as needed.

Understand and follow GMPs, SOPs, and analytical procedures (both compendial and in-house).

Work collaboratively in a team environment to foster a positive culture.

Maintain good housekeeping practices in the laboratory and other workspaces.

Observe and comply with company Health and Safety policies.

Contribute to a continuous improvement environment and work with management to implement changes.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills-
Proficiency in HPLC, with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry.

At least 3 years of experience in a relevant role.
Additional Skills & Qualifications-
Knowledge and hands-on experience with chromatography, spectroscopy, wet chemistry, and dissolution testing.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Adaptability to demands in a fast-paced work environment.

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

Capability to work collaboratively with various disciplines both inside and outside the company.

Demonstrated good laboratory technique with high accuracy in executing analytical techniques.

B.S. degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline, or equivalent directly related job experience.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a QC laboratory under a GMP environment is desired.

Experience with chromatographic data acquisition software is a plus.
Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. This is a smaller organization with 35 employees, where you will have the opportunity to work closely with everyone. While there is no mandatory overtime, sometimes additional hours may be needed to complete testing already in progress.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $43.00/hr.
