Our client is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design and development of electrical systems for a variety of projects. This role will focus on power, lighting, communications, fire alarm, and other specialty systems while working closely with internal teams, clients, and project partners.
Responsibilities:
- Design electrical systems and prepare project documentation with a focus on accuracy, safety, and code compliance
- Review designs and perform code research to ensure projects meet applicable requirements
- Select electrical equipment and components based on project needs and manufacturer specifications
- Conduct site visits, field investigations, and surveys to support design efforts
- Develop electrical specifications and technical documentation
- Work with architectural and engineering teams to coordinate project drawings and details
- Attend project meetings with clients, architects, and contractors
- Provide technical support throughout construction phases
- Assist with mentoring and reviewing design work produced by junior team members
- Create and modify drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
- 0–3 years of related electrical design experience
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
