Position Overview:
The Optical Technician plays a key role in supporting the doctor and ensuring a smooth patient experience. This position involves both clinical and optical responsibilities, as well as direct patient interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-test patients (auto-refraction, tonometry, visual field, OCT/retinal imaging)
- Assist the doctor during examinations as needed
- Accurately document patient information in EMR
- Take accurate measurements (PD, seg height, etc)
- Adjust, repair and troubleshoot eyewear
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam lanes
- Provide outstanding customer service at all times
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
