Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of paint mixing and color matching processes and techniques, with a keen eye for detail and quality. As a Painter, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality components that meet our specifications and standards. This position requires a commitment to safety and efficiency while working in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prep, Stage, and Paint jobs on various signage and architectural projects.
- Operate AkzoNobel paint system to ensure color matching as per customer specifications.
- Adhere to proper PPE requirements including full face mask, gowning, etc.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve fabrication processes.
- Quickly troubleshoot issues on the spot as they arise.
- Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Experience
- Previous experience (3+ years) in industrial/automotive painting or related field
- Experience with AkzoNobel paint systems a plus.
- OSHA 10 & FIT Testing Certifications a plus (If not, training will be required upon hiring).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new techniques.
- English required, Bilingual a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
