The MBS Collection is looking to hire a Hair Stylist! Stylist should be creative, professional, and eager to work.
Cosmetologist, Loc Artists , & Braider’s are encouraged to apply.
Duties vary, but may include cutting, color, natural hair care, & weaving, etc.
Stylist should be familiar with customer consultations, hair care, informing and educating clients(weaving specialists & loc techs encouraged to apply.) If you have experience, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and perform a consultation!
- Recommend hairstyles and haircuts according to customers budget, maintenance request and preference.
- Shampoo, rinse, color, treat and dry clients’ hair using appropriate shampoos and conditioners.
- Cut, trim and style hair.
- Create hairstyles for formal events and everyday looks, including braids, ponytails and weaves.
- Suggest hair treatment products as needed.
- Form bonds with loyal customers and remember their hairstyle preferences
- Manage bookings and serve walk-ins
- Ensure tidiness of beauty stations and sterilize tools, as needed
Skills
- Familiarity with hair treatment products and services
- Up-to-date with industry trends
- Excellent communication skills
- Physical stamina to stand for long hours
- Flexibility to work in shifts
- Valid Cosmetology license
