The Food Quality Checker is responsible for checking ingredients before production starts and verifying finished products before they leave the facility. This role ensures all materials and products are free of foreign material and meet company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ingredient Integrity Checks — Inspect raw ingredients before they enter production to ensure they are clean, free of foreign material, and meet specifications.
- Foreign Material Detection — Perform visual inspections throughout the shift to identify plastic, metal, wood, rubber, or other foreign material risks.
- Quality Verification — Confirm product appearance, color, texture, weight, and labeling accuracy.
- Packaging Integrity — Check packaging condition.
- Issue Escalation — Immediately report defects or foreign material concerns to QA, Supervisor, and/or Management.
Schedule & Availability
- Shift: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
- Availability: Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Qualifications
- Bilingual English & Spanish
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to identify defects and foreign material
- Basic understanding of food safety and GMP
- Good communication and documentation skills
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
