American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU Night position in New Mexico, open to first-time travelers with at least 1 year of ICU experience and a NM or compact RN license.

ICU setting within an acute care hospital
-
Patient ratio of 1:2 in the ICU
-
Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (18:30–07:00)

Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week

Weekends required

Floating may be required to Med/Surg, Stepdown, PCU, ER, or CVICU, with a maximum patient load of 4 when floating

Uses Epic EMR (experience preferred)

Active NM RN license or compact RN license (pending NM license accepted)

Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required

Current BLS certification required

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Travel pairs or groups will not be accepted — individual travelers only

Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before applying as a traveler

No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
