Job Summary
I am seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. This role is vital in ensuring that our spaces are hygienic, organized, and well-maintained, contributing to a positive experience for staff, clients, and visitors alike. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a professional appearance
- Handle custodial tasks including trash removal, restocking supplies, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces regularly
- Assist with cleaning projects or specialized cleaning tasks as needed to address specific facility requirements
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repair needs or safety hazards observed during cleaning routines
- Maintain cleanliness standards by adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines
- Use cleaning equipment efficiently to ensure optimal results in both residential and commercial settings
- Must have reliable transportation and cell phone for location/geo fencing
Skills
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety practices
- Ability to operate common cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Familiarity with cleaning methods and facilities maintenance tasks
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and organization
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues promptly
