Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Truck/Pilot Coordinator to join our logistics team. In this vital role, you will coordinate Pilot-Escort support , manage transportation schedules, and ensure seamless communication between drivers, escorts, and internal departments. Your proactive approach will help optimize fleet operations, improve delivery efficiency, and support our company's objectives. Duties
- Coordinate and dispatch using transportation management systems such as Axon Software to ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor GPS and GIS data to track vehicle locations, optimize routes, and troubleshoot logistical issues in real-time.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, Pilot-escorts, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems and email, all while maintaining professional etiquette and clear communication skills.
- Enter accurate real-time data into systems like software management platforms to update shipment statuses, delivery schedules, and fleet information.
- Manage rate documentation and related records to ensure compliance with company policies and customer requirements.
- Utilize analysis skills to assess supply chain performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements for transportation planning.
- Oversee activities, including vehicle scheduling, maintenance coordination, and compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications
- Experience with transportation management software systems or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of Oversize pilot escort regulation is a plus.
- Knowledge of logistics, freight dispatching, shipping & receiving procedures, and supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with GPS tracking tools, GIS applications, and transportation planning software.
- Knowledge of oversize load permitting in US state permitting systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally while demonstrating good phone etiquette.
- Proficiency in data entry with high accuracy and strong typing skills is essential.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret transportation data for process improvements.
- Experience working in a logistical environment or fleet management is a plus.
- Knowledge of oversize/Heavy haul and safety standards in logistics operations is preferred.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
