Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of customer service
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and purchasing to maintain optimal product availability
- Oversee cashiering duties, including cash handling, POS system operation, and sales transactions
- Train and develop team members in retail sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement strategies
- Implement merchandising plans to enhance store presentation and promote featured products effectively
- Handle employee scheduling, shift management, and payroll processing with accuracy and efficiency
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and foster a positive work environment
Experience
- Proven management experience within the retail industry, preferably in a sales team leadership role
- Strong background in retail sales, inventory management, and operational oversight
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
- Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems, bookkeeping software, and basic math for cash handling and inventory calculations
- Experience with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and conducting employee orientation sessions
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve our diverse customer base effectively
- Prior experience in supervising retail staff, managing budgets, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives is preferred
