We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Purchaser to join our team and help us manage and deliver outstanding exhibits and event solutions.
POSITION SUMMARY
As a Purchaser, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, products, and services required for exhibit projects and permeant installs. You will work closely with internal teams, including sales, estimating, design, and production, to understand project requirements and ensure materials are purchased accurately, cost-effectively, and within required timelines. This role also involves managing vendor and supplier relationships, obtaining quotes, negotiating pricing and terms, submitting and tracking purchase orders, and coordinating deliveries to support successful and timely exhibit production.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES*
- Collaborate with estimators to source and purchase project materials and components based on specifications, budget, and lead time.
- Manage vendor relationships, submit orders, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Review vendor contracts, invoices, and terms to ensure compliance with company policies and project needs.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, costs, and inventories.
- Identify and establish relationships with new vendors while maintaining strong partnerships with existing suppliers.
- Work with vendors to ensure product quality and adherence to project specifications.
- Resolve issues related to vendor performance, pricing discrepancies, and delayed deliveries.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience (2-5 years preferred) in purchasing, preferably within the exhibit, events, or fabrication industries.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/order simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of material sourcing, supply chain management, and industry best practices.
