Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented House Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential spaces, ensuring that each home is a welcoming environment for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong cleaning skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team within a 30 mile radius of Gorham, ME.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential properties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Manage laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens.
- Provide floor care services such as sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing various types of flooring.
- Ensure sanitation standards are met in all areas of the home, including kitchens and bathrooms.
- Offer exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and preferences during cleaning sessions.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Assist with special projects such as deep cleaning or organization tasks as requested by clients.
Skills
- Proficient in various cleaning techniques and equipment usage.
- Experience in residential cleaning is preferred; familiarity with commercial cleaning is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and understand their needs.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe and healthy environment for clients.
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is beneficial; hotel experience can also be an asset.
- Ability to perform carpet cleaning and maintain floor care standards across different surfaces.
