Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cleaner to join our team and help maintain a pristine, welcoming environment. This is a weekend position. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all areas are spotless, sanitized, and well-organized, contributing to a positive experience for clients and staff alike. Areas will be inspected after cleans. Your attention to detail, efficient cleaning techniques, and proactive approach will be key to creating a safe and hygienic space. This position offers an opportunity to work in diverse settings, including residential homes, commercial spaces, and hospitality environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents.
- Implement sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety standards across all areas.
- Conduct laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas by applying proper cleaning techniques and supplies.
- Handle heavy lifting tasks safely during the movement of furniture or equipment.
- Manage outdoor cleaning duties such as sweeping walkways or maintaining outdoor furniture when required.
- Communicate effectively with clients or team members to address specific cleaning needs or concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles, including residential , short-term rental, or commercial cleaning environments.
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures along with familiarity with various cleaning detergents and equipment.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients or team members.
- Experience in specialized cleaning such as carpet cleaning or floor care is preferred but not mandatory.
- Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends or evenings if necessary.

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
