Cafe Rack is looking for a motivated, hospitality-driven Bartender who wants to be part of building something great.
We’re creating a high-energy neighborhood destination in Emeryville and are seeking someone who brings initiative, accountability, and a strong sense of ownership to their role.

What You’ll DoCraft & Service
- Prepare cocktails, beer, and wine with consistency and quality
- Deliver attentive, engaging service that builds repeat clientele
- Maintain responsible alcohol service standards
- Handle high-volume periods with focus and professionalism
Ownership & Initiative
- Take pride in maintaining a polished, organized bar
- Identify opportunities to improve service flow and guest experience
- Support promotional efforts and guest engagement
- Contribute ideas to help grow traffic and build loyal regulars
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with leadership and kitchen staff
- Help set the tone for culture, accountability, and service standards
- Be a dependable presence during key shifts
Who You Are
- Minimum 2 years bartending experience
- Comfortable working in a growing, evolving environment
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Strong interpersonal skills and confident presence
- Detail-oriented and dependable
- RBS Certification and Food Handler’s Card required
